I got a chance to review a game app called Phrase Party and although I only got to play it in Solo mode, it was still fun! You can play in three different modes, Solo, Classic, and Online. Solo is obviously you playing alone; Classic is playing with a group around you, and Online is connecting your Facebook and playing against other people online. It kind of reminds me of Jeopardy but you have to guess the word before you put in the letters. You get clues that will help you figure it out without giving the answer. Some are hard but others are really easy. There's a good mix to keep you interested. I also liked that when you first start the app, it gives you a demo video on how to play with a group of people. I didn't get the chance to try that option because I haven't been around more than 1 person in a while LOL but I did get to try out the Solo mode. Clues will appear at the bottom of the screen and you can choose to have them read out loud or not by turning the volume on or off. The voice is kind of annoying though like a GPS haha. You can skip ones that you are having a hard time figuring out because you are timed. They give you 1 minute and 30 seconds to guess as many as you can and then you are awarded a certain number of coins based on how you did. It's worth a try if you like these kinds of games that make you think! Below is an example of one, the screen flashes red when your time starts getting low but usually the screen is blue. My top button on my phone is broken so it takes forever for me to get a screenshot of something LOL. The answer was Iron Man. Available on iTunes!

Roxow Jump Rope
There are a few things I love about this jump rope. It has adjustable handles so no matter how tall or short you are, you can adjust it to fit you personally. I thought that was really cool because then you know it will work for you with no question when you buy it instead of risking the chance of it being too long or short like traditional jump ropes. I also like the fact that they give you spare parts incase anything happens to it. You get a second rope and a second set of screws and bids. Very cool! Another great thing that the company itself offers is a lifetime money-back guarantee, no questions asked. I think they do this because they know they have a great product and nobody will want to send it back LOL.
To find out more about this product or to purchase ($10.97, free shipping if you have Prime) one for yourself you can find it on Amazon at Roxow Jump Rope. You can also find out more on the product website at Roxow. Below is picture of everything that comes in your package and a few product details.

The Diamond Connection
I was a bit skeptical about this book when I first started it. It didn't start slow but it also didn't grab my attention either. I continuted to read on anyway. I am so glad that I did! Once I got a little deeper into the storyline I couldn't put it down. Worth the read for sure!
The main character in the book is Ella Cohen who lives with her mother in a run down bad part of town. Ella starts a job at the Diamond Exchange to help pay off her mother's debt and it turns her life completely upside down. She becomes attracted to her married boss, gets involved in a diamond heist without even knowing it, and is followed and threatened by thugs snd she's not even sure why. After becoming a suspect in the diamond heist, its up to her and her friends to prove she wasn't involved before it's too late.
If you like thriller/mystery type books, you will enjoy this one. You can find it on Amazon at The Diamond Connection. It is free to read on kindle unlimited and also if you have Prime;) If not, right now the book is $2.99.

I'M BACK!!!...again LOL
I'M BACKKKK! LOL. I know I know, I slacked off pretty badly the last few months. Working 3rd shift really takes a toll on pretty much everything you do. I was spending my nights working and my days sleeping. Any extra time I had was spent with my bf and fur babies so blogging was sort of out of the question for awhile but I am no longer working at the moment so I have lots of time! I have had more time to experiment with my cooking and baking, read more books, test new products, and maybe more interesting things to come as the summer goes on. Knowing my life though, probably not LOL. But hopefully soon I will have some new recipes, book reviews, and product reviews.
That's the plan! I am also planning more posts for my beauty blog also. (Byootuhfuhl Life)
I had also mentioned in previous posts that my computer had stopped working and that is also back up and running again. Not very well but it works! So I am hoping to have some decent pictures however I am still using an older camera and no longer have my photo editing software so they won't be anything spectacular LOL. Any picture is better than no picture right? ;)

Not a Word About Love by Hana Goldberg Review
I want to start off saying this book is an erotic drama? I guess that would be the proper genre? LOL. I'm not really sure but it does have some explicit parts so if that's not your thing then this is not the book for you. I have mixed feelings about it though. It had a decent story line but I also sort of felt that it was a little chaotic. The author is a best selling and critically acclaimed author in Israel so I'm wondering if some parts may have been lost in translation somewhere and maybe that is why I feel it's a little bit all over the place.
The story is about a woman that is feeling trapped in her life and is missing the passion she once had for life in general but also with her husband and their life together. He sends her on a vacation to help her focus on her writing and hope to get her out of her funk. While on her mini vacation, she meets a man and finds that passion again however he turns out not to be what she thought he was. The main focus of the book is a good one but again, I felt like it was put together in a way that may be confusing. If you like reading erotic type of books though I'd give it a try! It may just have been my take on the book. If you do read it, please comment below what you felt about it. I'd love to know how others are reading and interpreting this book! You can purchase it on Amazon at Not a Word About Love for your Kindle or Kindle app (I don't have a Kindle so I just use the app on my phone and tablet!).
