Roxow Jump Rope

When I first opened my package from Roxow, I was extremely skeptical LOL. I have never seen a jump rope that looks like this one. When I first saw all the pieces I thought I had to put it together so right off the bad I was going in thinking this thing was going to be junk. I was very wrong and I'm glad I gave it chance!

The Diamond Connection

I was a bit skeptical about this book when I first started it. It didn't start slow but it also didn't grab my attention either. I continuted to read on anyway. I am so glad that I did! Once I got a little deeper into the storyline I couldn't put it down. Worth the read for sure!

The main character in the book is Ella Cohen who lives with her mother in a run down bad part of town. Ella starts a job at the Diamond Exchange to help pay off her mother's debt and it turns her life completely upside down. She becomes attracted to her married boss, gets involved in a diamond heist without even knowing it, and is followed and threatened by thugs snd she's not even sure why. After becoming a suspect in the diamond heist, its up to her and her friends to prove she wasn't involved before it's too late.

I'M BACK!!!...again LOL

I'M BACKKKK! LOL. I know I know, I slacked off pretty badly the last few months. Working 3rd shift really takes a toll on pretty much everything you do. I was spending my nights working and my days sleeping. Any extra time I had was spent with my bf and fur babies so blogging was sort of out of the question for awhile but I am no longer working at the moment so I have lots of time! I have had more time to experiment with my cooking and baking, read more books, test new products, and maybe more interesting things to come as the summer goes on. Knowing my life though, probably not LOL. But hopefully soon I will have some new recipes, book reviews, and product reviews.
That's the plan! I am also planning more posts for my beauty blog also. (Byootuhfuhl Life)

I had also mentioned in previous posts that my computer had stopped working and that is also back up and running again. Not very well but it works! So I am hoping to have some decent pictures however I am still using an older camera and no longer have my photo editing software so they won't be anything spectacular LOL. Any picture is better than no picture right? ;)

Old Factory Candle Gift Set Review

These Old Factory candles would make great gifts which is what I did! I ordered the Winter Wonderland set which contained hot cocoa, roasted chestnut, and first snow. I opened them to smell before gifting them and OMG the hot cocoa smelt amazingggggg! The other two smelt good as well but the hot cocoa one instantly made me want hot chocolate LOL. It was very true to scent. So far the I have heard from the person I gifted them too that she loves the roasted chestnut candle and also loves how they burn. These candles are natural soy and burn clean for hours and then harden back up so you can burn them again! They have tons of different sets that you can choose from if Winter Wonderland isn't your thing, including a 50 Shades of Grey set;) The only issue I would say I have with them is I think they could be a bit bigger for the price however if they burn for hours and then you can continue to burn them some more and still have the same fragrant smell then it may just be worth it. Not a Word About Love by Hana Goldberg Review

I want to start off saying this book is an erotic drama? I guess that would be the proper genre? LOL. I'm not really sure but it does have some explicit parts so if that's not your thing then this is not the book for you. I have mixed feelings about it though. It had a decent story line but I also sort of felt that it was a little chaotic. The author is a best selling and critically acclaimed author in Israel so I'm wondering if some parts may have been lost in translation somewhere and maybe that is why I feel it's a little bit all over the place.

The story is about a woman that is feeling trapped in her life and is missing the passion she once had for life in general but also with her husband and their life together. He sends her on a vacation to help her focus on her writing and hope to get her out of her funk. While on her mini vacation, she meets a man and finds that passion again however he turns out not to be what she thought he was. The main focus of the book is a good one but again, I felt like it was put together in a way that may be confusing. If you like reading erotic type of books though I'd give it a try! It may just have been my take on the book. If you do read it, please comment below what you felt about it. I'd love to know how others are reading and interpreting this book! Lifeguard Mini Portable Charger Review

Let me tell you, this is the first portable charger I've ever got to use but I have to say that I LOVE it! I leave it in my purse while I'm at work, or pretty much if I go anywhere, and it's my savior when my phone dies. My phone dies pretty often because I am alwayssss on it LOL. Lately it hasn't been able to hold a charge very well either;( This little portable device really does come in handy. It doesn't charge as fast as a wall charger but it's not super slow either which is nice. I feel like it does go faster than my car charger which surprised me. The only thing that would make it better in my eyes is if it was pink:) LOL. Sorry for the crappy picture of the product. I'm back to using my phone camera because my computers are out of commission:( The two pics below are screenshots I took when I first started charging and when I took it off the charger. It does charge the phone a bit faster when the portable mini is completely charged but when I used it, it was about half.
