BakeitFun Baking Mat Review

The BakeitFun baking mat is a 16 & 1/2 x 11 silicone mat that you can place over your baking sheet for easy non-stick baking! It makes clean up so easy and the non-stick aspect is amazing. No need for any type of grease or shortenings which cuts down the fat. I used it to bake biscuits as well as cookies and everything cooked evenly and I had no issues with them getting stuck or falling apart. I will definitely be using this baking mat whenever I bake. Did I mention there was little to no clean up! After I used the mat I ran it under hot water and wiped it real quick with a soapy sponge and it was all clean. The other thing I love about this mat is it is a great price. The only thing I would suggest to the company would be to make it in different sizes. Other than that I am extremely happy with this product:) Below is a video of when I made cookies. It shows me taking them off the pan which was literally right after taking them out of the oven. Usually I would have to let them cool for a minute to harden up so they don't fall apart but I didn't have to do that this time! Easy Homemade Cookies on a Budget

So I loveeee to bake and cook but I'm not always the best at it LOL. So I usually find a recipe and follow it the first time and then the second time around I will make my little tweaks, additions and subtractions. I found this recipe on bettycrocker.com(click for original recipe) for Bisquik Chocolate Chip cookies! It has very little ingredients and is so easy to make. The best part is it's a basic cookie recipe and you can add any ingredients you want to make different kinds of cookies. I have made chocolate peanut butter chip, reeses pieces, chocolate walnut, and coconut chocolate chip. The main ingredients you will need are biquick mix, light brown sugar, pure vanilla extract, egg, butter, and whatever you decide to mix in. Exact ingredient list and directions below.

1/2 cup softened butter(full stick)
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
2 cups packed Bisquick mix
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips(or whatever you decide to put in, when doing 2 ingredients, 1/2 cup each. I used 1/2 c choco chips and 1/2 c pb chips)

Step 1- Before you start mixing ingredients, preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2- Mix together softened butter and light brown sugar together until it makes a creamy mixture. Then add the vanilla and egg and continue to mix until blended.

Step 3- Mix in the bisquick mix first until blended and then add your chocolate chips and stir.

Step 4- Drop teaspoons of mix onto ungreased cookie sheet(I used a pretty large sheet and fit 12) and bake for about 10 minutes. For larger sized cookies you can add 2 or 3 minutes.

Step 5- Transfer cookies onto something to cool(I used another cookie sheet) and repeat step 4 until mix is gone. Makes about 24-30 cookies depending on size.

Ebook - Almost Perfect Review

I was offered a chance to read this book for review and I am glad I did! I was unsure about it at first but ended up really enjoying it and finishing it in a very short amount of time. I LOVE thriller/mystery books and Almost Perfect by Orly Krauss-Winer fit into that category. The book had mystery, romance, scandal, history, and a great set of characters. It was very easy to get into once started. I don't want to go into too much detail for fear of giving away the good parts but a body is found in a car completely charred and the story goes on from there. It gives multiple points of view from different characters related to the investigation which I thought was pretty cool. All in all it was a great book and worth the read! Tomoson Review

I recently started using a site called Tomoson and I love it! You sign up for an account and then you can start applying for products to review on your blog and social media accounts. If you aren't into blogging then this definitely isn't for you however if you are, you should give it a shot! I have received quite a few products so far and have only been on the site for about a month. I've gotten weightloss pills, skincare products, a baking mat, iphone armband, as well as a few other items. Probably over $100 worth of products.

Once you receive your products, you have 35 days to complete (verify) the tasks they require. You can also choose to charge for your reviews which is pretty cool! I can't wait to get my computer up and running so it'll make updating my blog so much easier! Lol. Doing it from my phone and tablet is driving me crazy ahhhhh. I'll keep ya posted;)
